The video surveillance market is ever evolving and one of the newest products to become available to the general market is Megapixel video.  The cameras and recording equipment are priced higher than their conventional counterparts but the picture quality and detail is considerable.  Megapixel may not be the right fit for all cases, but in some instances a Megapixel camera may replace numerous cameras, saving costs with equipment, installation labor, and materials.  The links below are the same camera recorded in Megapixeland600 Lines of resolution (the highest resolution achievable with a standard DVR at this time).  This particular camera by Samsung GVI has an analog coaxial output and therefore allows identical video in two formats.  The video is an accident that occurred on I-35 in front of our offices on a Sunday.
